Audi EV Sets Guinness Record With 831 Miles On A Single Charge

  • The Audi A6 Sportback E-Tron covered 831 miles (1,338 km) on a single charge, setting a new Guinness World Record for production cars.
  • Rally driver Miko Marczyk averaged just 7.09 kWh/100 km during the record-breaking run.
  • The same driver previously set a fuel-efficiency record by driving a Skoda Superb diesel 1,759 miles (2,831 km) on one tank.

Miko Marczyk has done it again. After driving a Skoda Superb diesel for a whopping 2,831 kilometers (1,759 miles) on a single tank of fuel last year, the Polish rally driver has now set another Guinness World Record for production cars. This time, he swapped diesel for electrons and squeezed 1,338 kilometers (831 miles) out of a car with a far more complicated name: the Audi A6 Sportback E-Tron.
