An Audi driver was stopped for driving with her "fingertip" while she had her hands full.
Merseyside Police's Roads Policing Unit stopped a white Audi A3 on the M62 near Warrington West on Thursday, August 11, after seeing the driver. Officers said they saw the woman using her mobile phone in one hand and holding a coffee in the other while steering with her fingertip.
Officers took to Twitter to out the driver, who they said was using her phone despite it having Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay. the woman was issued a Traffic Offence Report (TOR).

The tweet sent by the team just after 4pm said: "Despite having Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay the driver of this Audi decided to use their mobile phone whilst driving, whilst holding a coffee in the other hand. The only control the driver had over the steering was with her fingertip. TOR issued."
After a TOR is issued at the roadside it is submitted to Central Ticket Office (CTO) who makes the decision as to if the woman will be given a driver education course, a fixed penalty scheme or be summoned to court.
