Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Warburton has admitted he is expecting Premier League interest in Leeds United-linked defender Rob Dickie this summer. Dickie has enjoyed a fine season for Rangers and has established himself as one of the best balling playing defenders outside of the top-flight.
The 26-year-old was linked with a move to the likes of Leeds, West Ham United, Southampton, Burnley and Wolves back in January. With QPR seemingly destined to miss out on a place in the top six after nine defeats in their last 12, those clubs could look to reignite their interest in the summer.
Given that Leeds currently possess the worst defensive record in the division, centre back could be an area of interest for Jesse Marsch and Victor Orta to address in the coming months. Speaking to West London Sport, Rangers boss Warburton thinks interest from elsewhere is inevitable.

He said: “People talk about good characters and it can be taken lightly, with a pinch of salt. But’s a really solid character. He cares about the game, cares passionately about the team doing well and his own development.
“His ball-playing skills and decision-making are key; when to take it, when to take the extra touch and not get caught. At Bournemouth away earlier in the season he made a mistake doing that and you have to learn from those type of mistakes and I think he has.
“I see a young player developing who will undoubtedly attract interest, because he has the physicality and technical ability, works on the weaknesses in his game and is just a really solid character.”
