The last of three people currently accused of being involved in an attempted murder has been taken into custody in Queensland following arrests in Sydney.
NSW Local Court magistrate Daniel Reiss on Thursday ordered the extradition of Robert Birch, 35, of Brisbane's West End in response to an interstate warrant.
Birch was due to arrive in Brisbane in the afternoon, in the company of Queensland Police officers and detectives, to face a Magistrates Court hearing.
Birch made multiple court appearances in Sydney after being arrested with his co-accused, Annabelle Smith, by heavily armed police on Pacific Highway in the city's northwest late last week.
The officers were serving warrants on the pair for their alleged involvement in an incident in which a 37-year-old man fell six metres from a sixth-floor balcony at a Spring Hill unit complex in Brisbane's inner north about 5am on December 5.
The man was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a critical condition.
Smith, 25, of Moreton Bay suburb of Mango Hill, was ordered to be extradited to Brisbane earlier this week.
NSW Police allegedly had to ram a vehicle and fire projectiles through its windows to take the pair into custody last Friday.
Smith and Birch suffered non-life-threatening injuries during their arrest and were taken to hospital under guard over the weekend.
Birch has not entered any pleas and did not apply for bail in NSW.
Queensland Police last week arrested another 35-year-old man at Mermaid Waters on the Gold Coast and charged him with one count each of attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, enter dwelling with intent by break, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and stealing.
The man arrested on the Gold Coast was remanded in custody and is due to reappear in court on February 13.
