A NSW court has ordered a woman arrested after a police pursuit in Sydney to be extradited to Queensland over alleged attempted murder.

Annabelle Smith, 25, of Moreton Bay suburb of Mango Hill, faced the Downing Centre Local Court in Sydney on Monday after being arrested by heavily armed police on Pacific Highway in the city's northwest.

NSW Police allegedly had to ram a vehicle and fire projectiles through its windows to take Smith and her co-accused Robert Birch, 35, of Brisbane's West End, into custody on Friday.

Smith and Birch suffered non-life-threatening injuries during their arrest and were taken to hospital under guard over the weekend.

The officers were serving warrants on the pair for their alleged involvement in an incident in which a 37-year-old man fell six metres from a sixth-floor balcony at a Spring Hill unit complex in Brisbane's inner north about 5am on December 5.

The man was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a critical condition.

Magistrate Robert Williams on Monday granted a NSW Corrective Services request to extradite Smith to Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Birch did not apply for bail during his own Local Court appearance on Monday and was remanded in custody to reappear on Tuesday at the Downing Centre court complex.

Queensland Police last week arrested another 35-year-old man at Mermaid Waters on the Gold Coast and charged him with one count each of attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, enter dwelling with intent by break, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and stealing.

The man arrested on the Gold Coast was remanded in custody and is due to reappear in court on February 13.
