An individual in a vehicle attempted to gain entry to the Atlanta FBI field office, as reported by an FBI Atlanta spokesperson. The incident occurred shortly after noon, according to FBI Atlanta spokeswoman Jenna Sellitto.
The suspect, who remains unnamed, exited the vehicle and was apprehended on foot. Subsequently, the individual was taken into custody and transported to a hospital for evaluation. The vehicle is currently undergoing clearance by a bomb squad, as confirmed by Tony Thomas, an FBI Atlanta spokesperson.
Fortunately, no FBI personnel sustained injuries during the incident, as stated by Thomas. The FBI has initiated an investigation into the matter and has informed CNN that there is currently no clear motive identified for the attempted entry.
