Neighbours woken by bangs after 'deliberate' attack on GP surgery
Residents woke up to "bangs" and flashing lights from emergency services following a "deliberate" attack on a doctors surgery.
At around 2.30am today, police and officers from Merseyside Fire and Rescue were called to a report of a fire at Roby Medical Centre on Pilch Lane East in Huyton.
Images of the medical center show two front windows smashed, with another pane of glass also damaged.

Black soot on the walls beneath the windows could also be seen.

Police name EncroChat heroin and cocaine suspect
A 52-year-old man has been charged with drug offences in relation to the EncroChat phone network.
John Hassall has been charged with conspiracy to import a controlled class B drug (cannabis) with intent to evade a prohibition/restriction, conspiracy to supply class A (cocaine and heroin) and class B drugs (cannabis).
A spokesman for the force said: "A Wirral man has been charged with conspiracy to supply heroin, cocaine and cannabis using the Encrochat encrypted messaging platform.
"John Hassall, 52 years, of Laird Street, Birkenhead, has been charged with conspiracy to import a controlled class B drug (cannabis) with intent to evade a prohibition/restriction, conspiracy to supply class A (cocaine and heroin) and class B drugs (cannabis)."

Bouncers kicked out man after attack in Heebie Jeebies
A man was attacked while in a city centre nightclub.
The victim was assaulted in Heebie Jeebies, on Seel Street, on Saturday, October 16, last year.
Detectives have now released a CCTV image of a who may have information about the incident.
They are appealing for anyone who recognises the man pictured or has any information.
