Athletes lodge sexual harassment complaint against SAI centre head in Assam

KOLKATA: At a time when some of India’s best wrestlers have been out on the streets protesting sexual harassment, a police complaint was filed against Mrinal Basumatary, in-charge of the SAI Training Centre (STC), Solalgaon in Assam and also a swimming coach there.

Athletes and a woman wrestling coach complained that he ‘sexually harasses’ girl athletes, including minors at STC Solalgaon.
