On the latest episode of At the Table, Lynn Sweet was joined by Emmett Till’s cousin Rev. Wheeler Parker Jr., South Side suburban minister and the last surviving witness to Till’s lynching. He tells the story of what happened on Aug. 28, 1955, and what led up to his cousin’s brutal slaughter by white supremacists.
