At least 29 injured, including five children, in Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia

At least 29 people, including five children, were injured after Russia dropped glide bombs on the southern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia and nearby areas, according to regional governor Ivan Fedorov.

The overnight strike hit residential districts, leaving families shaken and emergency crews working through the night.

Local authorities said several apartment blocks were damaged, along with an infrastructure site and an educational facility.

Rescue teams checked buildings for further risks, while medics treated the wounded. Some of the injured were taken to hospital.
