At 10, America’s youngest certified farmer received 40 acres after years of farming

Kendall Rae Johnson is 10 years old and reportedly the youngest certified farmer in the United States. The report, written by Chris Welch in Atlanta, says she began farming at the age of three and started her business at six. On any given day, she might be giving a tour to local schoolchildren, selling her produce from her front yard or at farmers' markets around the Atlanta area, or sitting behind a table signing autographs for her children's book about farming. The outlet also reports that she has now been gifted a total of 40 acres towards her ultimate goal of having 100 acres on which to farm and raise cattle.
