All you had to do was look behind home plate to see just how many Astros fans left early during the Astros' disastrous Game 7 loss to the Rangers on Monday night.
A crowd that looked raucous in the first inning quickly was silenced by a three-run top of the first by the Rangers, and as Texas kept piling on, most Astros fans seemed to decide enough was enough by midway through the game. Tons of ‘Stros fans were seen heading to the exits in the sixth inning, and by the end of the game, only a few passionate Houston fans remained in the ballpark.

It’s hard to blame the Astros fans too much for departing a blowout early, but a near-empty stadium to wrap up losing all four home games of the ALCS to an in-state, and in-division, rival is a rough look.
Fans around baseball certainly used it as ammunition to troll an already-hurting Astros fanbase.
Astros fans might be the worst fan base in baseball https://t.co/ZjPSffOcTB

Ouch.
Astros fans have had plenty of fun over the last several seasons, so fans clearly had fun reveling in their pain for at least one night.
