Carlos Correa’s history in Houston doesn’t seem to have kept him in the good graces of the Astros fanbase.
Fans at Minute Maid Park have not ceased booing their former shortstop every time he steps to the plate through two games of the ALDS against the Twins.
Correa, who spent seven seasons in Houston and won a World Series with the franchise, was booed during Saturday’s game, and that continued on, loudly, into Sunday’s Game 2.
After opening the scoring with a first-inning RBI double, which he followed up with a two-run single later on, Correa was harshly booed by Astros fans during his second at-bat of the game, continuing the trend that’s been going on all series long.
The MLB world on social media wasn’t happy with the treatment the 29-year-old was receiving from his former fanbase, and they ripped into Astros fans on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Carlos Correa gets the Twins on the board in first with an RBI double to left center. Good start! Not sure the boo birds liked that too much 😂
