Aston Villa vs Brentford Preview
The Villains have endured a poor run of form in recent weeks, failing to win in eight consecutive matches (all competitions) and dropping down to 12th in the table.
Unai Emery’s side were thrashed 3-0 in their last league encounter, with Chelsea dominating the match at Stamford Bridge from start to finish.
Talisman, Ollie Watkins, has scored just two goals in his last eight Premier League appearances and has symbolised Villa’s current situation.
On the other hand, Brentford are coming off a huge league victory after beating Leicester 4-1 at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Kevin Schade bagged a hat-trick against the Foxes and will be full of confidence going into the clash against Aston Villa on Wednesday evening.
Brentford’s form this season has been rather interesting, being undefeated at home but failing to win any of their away visits in the Premier League.
