Arsenal are aiming to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to Manchester City midweek when Mikel Arteta’s side travel to Aston Villa on Saturday (12:30pm kick-off).
The Gunners were kicked off top spot in the Premier League by City on Wednesday with the defeat at the Emirates Stadium enough to see Pep Guardiola's side go above the hosts on goal difference. Bukayo Saka’s penalty just before half-time brought Arsenal level after Kevin De Bruyne’s opener but second-half goals from Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland secured all three points for City.
Arsenal still have a game in hand on their title rivals and will regain top spot if they avoid defeat at Villa Park. City play later in the day away at Nottingham Forest (3pm).

The Gunners are winless in three matches in the league and will be keen to swing the momentum back in their favour ahead of the title run-in. Villa, meanwhile, are 11th going into the game having suffered back-to-back defeats to City and Leicester.
