The Aston Martin Formula 1 team has launched its own driver academy, with Spain's FIA Formula 3 driver Mari Boya its first recruit.

A three-time Spanish karting champion, Boya will be supported by Aston Martin with what the team called a "comprehensive development programme" as he navigates the F1 feeder series ladder.
