A crash involving a speeding Aston Martin outside Hyderabad’s Inorbit Mall allegedly driven by 21-year-old Lingamaneni Sanjush, son of Jana Sena Party Rajya Sabha MP Lingamaneni Ramesh, has led to a police case over the death of a 26-year-old woman, reports TOI.
Bharati Mukhi, who worked as a salesgirl at the Lifestyle store inside Inorbit Mall, died on August 16 after she was allegedly hit by a speeding Aston Martin while crossing the road. Madhapur police have named Sanjush in the case, with the FIR alleging that he was driving the vehicle at high speed and in a rash and negligent manner at around 3pm.
The case has been registered under Section 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which covers death caused by a rash or negligent act that does not amount to culpable homicide.
