Today (May 3rd) is World Asthma Day, an event that has taken place annually for over a decade and aims to raise awareness about asthma and how it impacts people around the globe.
Asthma is a lung condition which affects an estimated 300 million people globally. The condition can be fatal, and according to Asthma + Lung UK, four people die every day in the UK because of an asthma attack.
Asthma is not a condition that only appears in childhood, people can develop asthma at any point in their lives.
