Kazakhstan and Germany’s largest tourism association, Deutscher Reiseverband (DRV), have agreed to hold the DRV Destination Forum in the capital Astana in August 2026. At the event, national and regional agencies will present tourism destinations, hold B2B meetings and elaborate on Kazakhstan’s offerings.
The agreement is seen by both sides as an important step toward strengthening bilateral tourism cooperation. DRV represents more than 4,000 companies and accounts for around 90% of organised outbound travel by German citizens.
