Assisted dying bill set to be delayed to next year after 'unprecedented response'

PROPOSALS to bring forward legislation to legalise assisted dying in Scotland are expected to be delayed, the MSP behind the Bill has said.

Scottish LibDem Liam McArthur said there was an “unprecedented level of response” to his consultation on the plans and that “it is right that I take the time to consider all of the responses received”.
