Will Morrison secrecy saga revive PEP-11 gas project?

The proponent of an offshore gas exploration project that former prime minister Scott Morrison killed off has called on the federal and state governments to reconsider their opposition to the project.

It follows the revelation that Mr Morrision appointed himself to the resources portfolio for the specific purpose of rejecting Asset Energy's application to explore for gas in coastal waters between Newcastle and Sydney.
