Leeds United will kick start the 2022/23 Premier League campaign on home soil against a Wolves side that finished in the top-half last season. Bruno Lage's side are still going through somewhat of a transition after the Portuguese boss took over the reins at Molineux last season.
Wolves were among the Premier League's lowest scorers last season with 38 goals, four less than Leeds, but they conceded the fifth lowest in the division. Lage's side won 13 games but also lost 17 last season - an indifferent campaign.
The Whites will be a much changed outfit when they take on Wolves on home soil this weekend, but Lage's side have signed just two new players. Burnley's Nathan Collins signed from the relegated side for a fee in the region of £20million, while they also took up the option on Hwang Hee-Chan to make the move a permanent one.

Wolves have welcomed back Adama Traore to the fold but the Spaniard could still leave Molineux this summer. Morgan Gibbs-White may also be set to play a bigger part this season after impressing on loan with Sheffield United last season.
Lage reportedly wants to keep Gibbs-White at Wolves though, and the club have tabled the offer of a new contract to the 22-year-old, who has impressed in pre-season. The England youth international is set for a prominent role next season and could play against the Whites this weekend.
Wolves recorded wins over Forest Green, Burnley, Alaves and Besiktas, suffered defeats to Levante and Villarreal B, before rounding off with a couple of draws against Portuguese outfits Sporting and Farense. However, these results count for naught when thee whistle blows at Elland Road next weekend.
One factor that could work in the Whites' favour, is the injury to Raul Jiminez who will miss the start of the season after sustaining MCL damage in a friendly against Besiktas. It means Wolves will head to Elland Road without a recognised striker, with Daniel Podence of Hee-Chan likely to play through the middle and thy both struggled for goals last season.
