With so much still on the line in the Premier League, the final day of the season could be one of the most exciting, or nerve-racking, in recent years. The title race looks set to go right down to the wire, as do the battles for the Champions League places and for survival.
For Leeds United players, staff and supporters, the only battle they will care about is the one involving the clubs towards the bottom end of the table. With Norwich already relegated and Watford as good as gone, there is just one place left to be decided.
At the moment, Leeds, Burnley and Everton are the teams scrapping to stay out of 18 th and it is highly likely that it will still all be left to play for on May 22. Teams like Brentford and Southampton, who have amassed 40 points so far, could still get dragged into the mire but they will likely do enough to avoid that eventuality.
