Assassin’s Creed Mirage release times are coming up fast, and you can even play a bit early if you’re on Xbox. The latest Assassin’s Creed game from Ubisoft is starting to roll out across the globe, and while console launch times are pretty straightforward, the PC launch is a little more complicated. When you can play actually depends on which storefront you bought the game from. If you purchased it on the Epic Games Store, you’ll have to wait a little longer than everyone else to dive into Basim’s big adventure.

Assassin's Creed Mirage release times on Xbox and PS5
The release schedule is a lot simpler on console. It’s just 12 a.m. in your local time zone. You can play a little earlier, though, if you feel like jumping through a few hoops.
How to play Assassin's Creed Mirage early
You can use the New Zealand trick to get into Mirage early, though it’s not as easy to pull off on PlayStation.
If you’re on Xbox:
- Open the “Settings” menu
- Choose the “System” submenu
- Choose “Time”
Change your local time to UTC+12 Auckland, Wellington, and once that time rolls around, the expansion will unlock on your console. New Zealand time is 17 hours ahead of Eastern time and 12 hours ahead of British Summer Time.
If you’re on PS5, you have to create a new account and set New Zealand as your region. That means:
- Having an alternate email address
- Choosing a New Zealand physical address
- Purchasing the base game and expansion from the New Zealand PSN
Your achievements won’t be shared between that account and your main account, and unless you play in offline mode, you’ll have to play Mirage on the New Zealand user account.
