Assam: Fire breaks out at Harijan colony in Dibrugarh; no casualties reported

Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A fire broke out at Harijan colony in Assam's Dibrugarh district on Saturday evening.

Several fire tenders were engaged in extinguishing the blaze.

Ujjwal Phukan, vice president, Dibrugarh Municipality said, "So far we have not received any information on the number of casualties or anything. The only information that we have so far is that 6-7 houses have caught fire...we heard that 2 cylinders also exploded..."
