GUWAHATI: A huge consignment of heroin marked as “100% pure” in Chinese, morphine, crystal meth and syabu worth about Rs 15 crore was seized from a Sikkim registered vehicle in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district on Tuesday morning. The consignment was headed for Siliguri in West Bengal, police said.
Three peddlers — Rajesh Lakandri (37), Kumar Gajimer (38) and Tangambou Marianmai (48) — were arrested in connection with the case. The trio hail from Manipur.
