Aspiring musicians to play at wagamamas this summer

wagamama has launched Symphony Sessions - a nationwide tour of young aspiring musicians performing intimate restaurant gigs. From June 14, for three weeks, wagamama will welcome talented musicians to perform in selected restaurants across the country.

The gigs have been named the ‘symphony sessions’ and will be a celebration of summer music performed by grass roots musicians. The music genre will be a mixture of soulful vibes, r&b, jazz and pop, perfect for a summery evening on a wagamama terrace.

The musicians, Lyvia (@Lyviamusic), Naiko (@naikojacques), Stefan (stefanmahendramusic), Jamie (@jamieyostmusic) and Matty (@mattyhaynesmusic) will perform at Manchester St Peters, Lincoln, Leeds Trinity, Exeter, Plymouth, Cardiff, London Bankside, Hammersmith and Old Street. Full details can be found https://www.wagamama.com/symphony-sessions

Guests arriving at the restaurants during the gigs can quote ‘symphony sessions’ and receive a free summer drink (cherry blossom lemonade, yuzu and lychee tonic, peach iced tea, cloudy lemonade or sakura pink gin and tonic). wagamama regional marketing manager Alice Eagle said: “We are so excited to be introducing symphony sessions, exclusively at nine key locations across the UK. This is a mid-week celebration of summer featuring live music performances to experience the sounds of wagamama through local grass roots musicians. We welcome you to head down to the bench between Tuesday June 14 and Thursday june 30 and enjoy some music with your favourite food.”
