Asics, a famous brand of sports footwear and apparel, invites everyone to join "Asics 15:09 Uplift Challenge" to help raise funds for charity and have the chance to win a pair of running shoes.
The challenge is inspired by an Asics experiment that found that just one week of physical inactivity has a similar impact as a week of broken sleep on our state of mind.
However, the results of Asics' Uplifting Minds Study, which involved thousands of participants worldwide, proved it can take just 15:09 minutes of physical activity to lift our mental state -- even after periods of inactivity.
Launched to mark Global Running Day on June 1 and to encourage everyone to move and uplift their minds, the challenge invites interested participants to share a photo or a video clip of themselves walking, running or doing work-out of any kind for 15.09 minutes on their Facebook, Instagram or TikTok accounts.
The post must come with hashtags #LiveUplifted #ASICSForWallofSharing #ASICSTH, and challenge other people to do the same.
For each post, Asics will donate 159 baht to Wall of Sharing, a charity project that provides online mental health counselling services by psychiatrists and psychologists to students.
All participants will also have a chance to win one of the two pairs of GlideRide3 running shoes. The campaign is running until June 30.
