FAQs

Does Asics offer free delivery?

OneAsics members receive free delivery on all orders. If you’re not a OneAsics member, standard delivery is free on orders over £50 and £3.95 on orders under £50 and takes 5-7 business days to arrive. Express home delivery is £6.95 and takes 1-2 business days to arrive. For delivery outside the UK, choose the country you’re from at the top right of the website and you’ll be able to pay in your local currency and view delivery costs.

Is ASICS Japanese?

Yes, ASICS is a Japanese company founded in Kobe by Kihachiro Onitsuka in 1949, and it's still headquartered there today.

While the company itself is Japanese, the ASICS acronym (meaning "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano," which translates to "A Sound Mind in a Sound Body") was adopted in 1971.

This philosophy of promoting physical and mental well-being through sports has driven their high-tech Japanese engineering and footwear design for decades.

Do ASICS come up big or small?

Generally speaking, ASICS running shoes are known to have a slightly snugger, more performance-focused fit, particularly in the toe box.

If you are buying ASICS for the first time, their official recommendation is to size up by half a size compared to your everyday casual shoes.

At the bottom of the website, you’ll see a ‘Sizing Information’ section. Here, you can view clothing fit, shoe size and shoe width guides, plus how to measure yourself. If you head into an Asics store, someone from the team will help you with this.

What is the Asics return policy?

Returning unwanted gear to ASICS UK is entirely free. Just use their online portal to generate a prepaid label, then drop it off at your nearest Yodel drop-off point, or return it in-store within 30 days of receiving your order. Orders must be unworn and unused in original packaging with tags and labels intact.

Make sure you sign up for the free OneASICS membership before you buy. It upgrades your return window to a massive 90 days and actually lets you take the shoes out for a run. If they don't perform perfectly, you can still return them for a full refund.

Are ASICS trainers good?

Yes, ASICS are considered some of the absolute best running shoes on the market. While brands like Nike and Adidas are household names, ASICS consistently wins over serious runners, beginners, and fitness experts thanks to their incredible cushioning, biomechanical support, and durability.

We at T3 have used and reviewed several of their footwear and we love them. We gave the ASICS Gel-Nimbus 27 5 stars and consider them a must-have pair of trainers for beginner marathon runners. They're extremely comfortable and cushioning, lightweight and supportive, you can't go wrong.

Meanwhile, the ASICS Metaspeed Sky+, the preferred shoe by many athletes, scored a 4-star rating thanks to its special FF Blast Turbo foam, which gives good bounce and energy return and is optimised for stride runners.

If you're still not convinced, ASICS debuted its own carbon-played technology with the ASICS Metaracer, and it blew us away at T3 and earned a 5-star rating. Matt Kollat, our section editor and resident fitness pro, described the Metaracer as "a brilliant road running shoe that combines sublime ground contact feel, impact force reduction and dynamic propulsion"

Asics Saving Tips

Sign up for OneASICS: Never check out as a guest! The easiest way to save money on your first order is to sign up for the free OneASICS membership. When you register with your email, ASICS will send you a unique promo code for 10% off your order.

Shop the Hidden "Private Sale": Standard guest shoppers miss out on some of the biggest discounts. Logging into your free OneASICS account automatically unlocks the hidden Private Sale section, where you can save up to 30% on collections.

Free Delivery: Premium running shoes are expensive enough without adding delivery fees to the total. Joining OneASICS completely removes the minimum spend requirement for delivery, guaranteeing free standard shipping on every order across mainland UK.

Student & Key Worker Discounts: ASICS offers generous discounts for students and key workers. If you are a university student, teacher, NHS worker, or military personnel, you can verify your status online via UNiDAYS or Blue Light Card to generate an exclusive 15% off promo code for all full-priced footwear and apparel.

The 90-Day Free Trial Hack: While this won't save you money upfront, it will stop you from wasting it. Buying the wrong running shoe can cause serious injuries to your body and your bank account. Because OneASICS members get a 90-Day Gear Trial, you can actually run in the shoes for three months. If they cause blisters or don't feel right, you can send the worn shoes back for a completely free, full refund (within reason)

Annual Birthday Voucher: Once you have signed up for the loyalty scheme, take 30 seconds to complete your profile settings and add your date of birth. ASICS will then automatically email you an exclusive birthday discount code every single year to celebrate.

Claim Your Free Runkeeper Go App Subscription: Buying premium ASICS gear usually gives digital freebies. New OneASICS members currently receive a 90-day free trial of Runkeeper Go™, giving you free access to custom race-training plans and audio workouts to go with your new shoes.

What if my promo code doesn’t work?

Our team work hard to ensure any incorrect promo codes or expired sales are not included on our pages. To do this, we check a few things, including:

Test the code and check if they are valid ourselves.

Check we don’t have unique, one-use codes.

Looking at the offer conditions to make sure you have all the information.

However, there are times when details change or codes may expire without us knowing. If this happens, be sure to contact us by emailing vouchers.t3@futurenet.com so we know.

How do we make money?

It’s free for shoppers to use the discount codes we have above. We’ll get a small percentage of the money spent as a commission from the retailer you shop at. As with most businesses, we need to make money although this will never impact your price. The brand gives us a small share of the profit for connecting you to them. This helps us to keep sourcing discount codes whilst you make a saving.

Simply put: the retailer makes a sale, we get a commission, and you get a discount.
