NEW DELHI: In the seventh round of the men's individual chess event at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, third-seeded Indian Grandmaster Vidit Gujrathi faced a loss against the top-ranked Chinese player Wei Yi.
Despite this setback, the 28-year-old Indian remains in a joint second position with 5 points from 7 rounds, trailing Wei Yi by just half a point.
