Asian Games: Indian rowers clinch two bronze medals on Day 2

NEW DELHI: Indian rowers continued to shine at the Asian Games with a stellar performance that saw them claim two bronze medals on a thrilling Monday of competition. The day commenced with the quartet of Jaswinder Singh, Bheem Singh, Punit Kumar, and Ashish Goliyan securing a bronze medal in the men's fours event, setting the stage for an outstanding day of rowing.

In a dramatic twist, the men's quadruple sculls team, consisting of Satnam Singh, Parminder Singh, Jakar Khan, and Sukhmeet Singh, emerged as the day's heroes. They secured the bronze medal with a timing of 6 minutes and 8.61 seconds. This impressive achievement placed them behind Uzbekistan, who finished in second place with a time of 6 minutes and 4.64 seconds, and the gold medalists, China, who clocked in at 6 minutes and 2.65 seconds.
