Asian Games 2026: India clinch silver in women's 10m air rifle team event

Elavenil Valarivan silver Vidarsa Vinod

The Indian shooting team made its debut at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games by winning a silver medal in the women’s 10m air rifle team event on Sunday.

Elavenil Valarivan, Sonam Maskar and Vidarsa Vinod combined for a total of 1898.0 points and finished second behind the Chinese team, which set a world-record of 1904.2, while hosts Japan finished third with 1897.1 points.
