Asian Games: Esha Singh-led Indian 10m air pistol women's team clinches silver

NEW DELHI: Indian teenage shooter Esha Singh led her team to a silver medal in the women's 10m air pistol event at the Asian Games. The Indian trio, consisting of 18-year-old Esha Singh, Palak, and Divya TS, secured a total of 1731 points for their silver medal. China claimed the gold with a total of 1736 points, setting an Asian Games record, while Chinese Taipei took the bronze with a total of 1723 points.

Esha Singh and Palak also had the opportunity to compete for individual medals as they both qualified for the eight-shooter final. After the qualification round, Esha was placed fifth, and Palak was seventh, while Divya missed the cut, finishing in 10th place.
