NEW DELHI: Three promising Wushu players from Arunachal Pradesh, Nyeman Wangsu, Onilu Tega, and Mepung Lamgu, who were regrettably unable to compete in the 19th Asian Games in China, are unwavering in their determination to excel in the future, while earnestly appealing to the Indian government for a resolution to the issue.
Last week, these three talented Indian athletes were denied entry to China to participate in the Hangzhou Asian Games. The absence of Lamgu, Wangsu, and Tega, who hail from the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh, was deeply felt by the Indian contingent.
