Cricket is among the key attractions at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026, with both India’s men’s and women’s teams set to compete for medals.
The women’s side, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, started its campaign against Japan on September 18, while the men’s team under captain Shreyas Iyer will enter the competition directly at the quarter-final stage on September 28. The 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 will officially take place from September 19 to October 4.

Harmanpreet Kaur-led India began its campaign in the fourth quarter-final against Japan on September 18 and secured a win.
India will next face Bangladesh in the semi-final on September 20. If the team qualifies for the final, the gold medal match is scheduled for September 22.
