Asian Continental Chess Championship: Divya Deshmukh does a double, wins blitz gold and classical bronze

NAGPUR: City’s first Women Grand Master (WGM) Divya Deshmukh regained her mojo after a slow start in the Asian Continental Chess Championship.

Despite losing the second round to a lower seed in the classical format and her opening game of the blitz event, Divya on Thursday brought home two Asian medals from the selection tournament for the Fide Knockout World Cup in New Delhi.
