Asia Cup: Sri Lanka and weather stand in the way of an India vs Pakistan final clash

India Sri Lanka Pakistan Asia Cup Dunith Wellalage the Men in Blue New Delhi the Asia Cup

NEW DELHI: India advanced to the Asia Cup final despite 20-year-old Dunith Wellalage's outstanding all-round performance. The Men in Blue, despite an underwhelming batting performance, managed to beat Sri Lanka by 41 runs on Tuesday.

The result saw India earn both points on offer which took their tally to 4 from 2 games. Only one other team now, between Sri Lanka (2) and Pakistan (2) can reach 4 points, which essentially means that Thursday's clash between these two teams in Colombo becomes a virtual semi-final.
