Former Disney star Ashley Tisdale may have left The Suite Life behind, but she certainly has amassed a huge following for her design style. If you’re looking for some fresh spring decor ideas to bring that sense of sunshine into your home as the days get longer, the actress’s new collaboration with HomeThreads is just the right place to start looking.
Called ‘Haven by Frenshe Interiors’, this collection perfectly encapsulates the California cool vibe that Ashley is known for, and uses very understated materials and neutral colorways in unique shapes and textures in order to make them statement pieces. From a fun velvet chair in a lush grass green to a contemporary coffee table that pays a nod to industrial decor, each piece feels already lived in and homey, which is what makes this collection a dream to discover.
‘I really like it when pieces feel rustic and charming, but have a clear, modern point of view,’ says Ashley when discussing her inspiration for the new collection. ‘That’s the style that really speaks to me at the moment.’ The goal, therefore, was to create an offering that traditional design aficionados would love, but could still find their space in more modern homes. Each piece looks handcrafted but plays around with contemporary silhouettes for added charm.
I scoured through the whole collection to give you a selection of some of my favorite pieces, all of which take the traditional and turn it on its head.

This contemporary coffee table has an industrial nod to it, thanks to its matte finish, and the caged base makes it more modern than traditional.
Velvet furniture is back on trend in a big way, and this subtle green number is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. I love how the wood arms and legs bring in some modern farmhouse style in there, too.
The hourglass silhouette on this simple vase makes a subtle statement, but not so much that your flowers will be left unadmired. It’s a very sleek look that would fit in perfectly in an all-white dining room.
By far my most favorite item in the collection, this nightstand mixes both open and closed storage space for a unique look. The hand-woven cane door on the front panel also makes me appreciate the fact that there’s an element of craftsmanship involved, even in such a modern design.
This two-toned design is not bright in the least bit, but it still has a striking look about it. The white, full-grain leather seat is all kinds of chic, and it pairs beautifully with the natural finish on the rest of the stool.
Carved entirely from natural white marble, this bowl lets the material’s natural radiance shine through, especially with the striated beige and neutral lines all over. It’ll highlight any bright fruit you might want to display in it.
This chunky, knitted pillow is my favorite for chilly spring nights when the weather hasn’t entirely warmed up. The braided texture lends a cozy feel, and the two-toned color pattern shows that beige is absolutely not boring in the least.
This side table is ideal for small spaces: Not only does the slim, single leg allow it to be squeezed in practically anywhere, but the aluminum finish means it’s lightweight enough to be stored away easily when not in use.
Storing your items away after you use them doesn’t always have to mean shoving them in a drawer. In fact, this beautiful basket is both a storage item and a statement piece at the same time: Both the cotton rope and natural seagrass finish add a vintage, yet sophisticated feel to it. I love to store magazines in it, but you can use it for whichever items tickle your fancy.
Actress Ashley Tisdale’s new collaboration with HomeThreads is my absolute favorite new way to bring laid-back California style into your home. It captures the indoor-outdoor living aesthetic in a beautiful way, and works to be on-trend without making you feel like you have to toss it all away when the season’s over. The color scheme, while simple, adds interest with contrasting materials, and makes decorating with neutrals easier than ever.
