Former child star-turned-fashion designer Ashley Olsen has become a mother, according to reports.
37-year-old Olsen – who originally shot to fame aged just nine months-old, sharing the role of Michelle with twin sister Mary-Kate on US sitcom Full-House in the 80s – is believed to have quietly welcomed a baby boy called Otto a few months ago with husband Louis Eisner, reports TMZ.
No additional details about the infant’s birth have been made public at this time.
The older sister of Marvel actress Elizabeth Olsen, Ashley married 34-year-old Eisner, an artist and the son of jewelry designer Lisa Eisner, in a private ceremony in December 2022.
The pair have been linked since October 2017, however, neither Olsen or Eisner have spoken about their relationship publicly and have generally kept a low profile over the years, only being photographed together a handful of times.
The Standard has contacted a representative for Ashley Olsen for comment.
Both Ashley and Mary-Kate prefer to keep their personal lives out of the spotlight since their days as child stars, which they said is reflected in their minimalist style.
“We were raised to be discreet people,” Mary-Kate told i-D back in June 2021 when asked about their fashion label The Row’s discreet, modest style.
“I think that potentially that’s just our aesthetic, our design preference, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t also appreciate something truly ornate or maximal,” she continued,
Adding to the publication: “Sometimes a collection even starts quite like that, and then gets pared down,” she continued. “It doesn’t always start from that simplistic place.”
