Ashlee Simpson recently marked the 20th anniversary of her debut album, Autobiography, by releasing an Expanded Edition of the record. This special edition includes the original 12 tracks along with three additional songs that were not featured on the U.S. release. Simpson expressed her excitement about the new tracks, mentioning that she had always wanted to include them in the album.
She also hinted at the possibility of going on tour to celebrate the album's milestone. Simpson is set to perform at a club event in Los Angeles and is planning to schedule more shows in the coming months.
Following the release of the extended album, Simpson is scheduled to perform at West Hollywood's Heart Nightclub. She shared her enthusiasm for the anniversary on social media and received positive feedback from fans and fellow celebrities.
In a previous interview, Simpson mentioned her plans to work on the rerelease of Autobiography and to potentially redo some of the songs for a special performance. Since the release of Autobiography in 2004, Simpson has released two more studio albums and a solo single in 2012.
Aside from her music career, Simpson has embraced motherhood, raising three children with her husband, Evan Ross. The couple released an EP together in 2018, showcasing their musical talents beyond their individual careers.
