NEW DELHI: A dominant Australia on Sunday secured a thrilling 43-run win over England in the second Ashes Test at Lord's. With this win, the Pat Cummins-led side took a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.
England's captain Ben Stokes displayed an exceptional performance, scoring a magnificent 155 runs but his knock went in vain.
Controversy also marred the morning session on the final day of Test when Jonny Bairstow was given out stumped after unintentionally straying out of his ground.

The Lord's crowd and social media erupted over the dismissal of Bairstow as it turned out to be one of the decisive factors in the contest.
Despite Stokes' heroic efforts, England's pursuit of the challenging target of 371 came to an end as they were eventually bowled out for 327.
The Australian bowlers proved to be effective in thwarting England's attempts to reach the total, securing a well-deserved victory.
