NEW DELHI: Spinner Asha Sobhana and hard-hitting batter Sajana Sajeevan have earned their maiden call-ups to the Indian women's cricket team for the upcoming five-match T20 series against Bangladesh, commencing on April 28.

Sobhana, a leg-spinner, showcased her talent during the Women's Premier League (WPL), where she played a crucial role in Royal Challengers Bangalore's triumph, claiming 12 wickets in 10 games at an impressive average of 15.42.
