Asda have shared one of their employee's stories on their social media pages as they want to help him raise awareness of skin cancer.

Dom Edwards, a senior director for produce commercial at the retail giant, is getting behind a campaign warning of the dangers of skin cancer and urging people to stay safe in the sun. He noticed an itchy mole on his back in 2008, which was confirmed as skin cancer the following year.

Since then he's undergone a series of major operations and has regular treatment but, after the melanoma spread to his lymph nodes, spine and organs, he's had the devastating news that he has stage four terminal cancer. Dom, who's married to Lizzie and has a daughter Lily, 15, and son Alfie, 13, is determined to use his own experience to help other people avoid what he's had to go through.
