A till operator at an Asda supermarket in Co Tyrone has been praised after he secretly paid for supplies for an upcoming cancer charity fundraiser.
Conor Allison from the Cookstown store was working last Saturday when local personal trainers Andrea O’Hare and Frances Mullan arrived to buy refreshments for an 80s themed fitness class in aid of Macmillan Cancer.
The two women explained what the groceries were for and about their fundraiser, but by the time they went to pay Conor had already paid for the items himself.
