An Asda worker who was suffering from seizures in her sleep thought it was down to the stress of working throughout the Covid pandemic. But when the mum-of-two plucked up the courage to visit the doctors she discovered she'd got a brain tumour
Helen Green suffered with the episodes for two months before she built up the courage to speak to a doctor. The 58-year-old said she'd also become forgetful and had trouble relaying information, Birmingham Live reports.
She was referred for an MRI scan at Walsall Manor Hospital, which showed a 6cm tumour growing on the left temporal lobe of her brain. Due to the size and placement of the tumour, doctors were baffled the 58-year-old was still able to walk and talk.
