An Asda shopper has shared an old receipt from when they did their food shop 21 years ago.
Taking to Reddit, user u/MooMooMills1 shared a snapshot of how much they spent on a few food items back in 2001. The receipt included the likes of bread, eggs, sweets and Comfort clothes conditioner.
In total, their shop had come to £17.87. People commented shocked at the prices, with some claiming that the same items would cost around £40 today.
