Asda shoppers are going wild for the supermarket's 'gorgeous' dinner set, which is scanning at tills for just £1.30. The store's homeware section - otherwise known as George Home - reduced the White Fawn Meadow 12-piece Dinner Set from £16 down to the new bargain price.
Taking to popular Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group - which boasts more than 2.2 million members - a bargain hunter gushed over her latest purchase. Sharing a snap of the reduced product from Asda, Susan Davis admitted that she 'couldn't believe the price' of the product she was able to home.
Alongside her post, she wrote: "In the right place at the right time.
"Couldn't believe the price, even asked Asda staff.... £1.30," she added beside a shocked emoji.
The beautiful dinner set includes four dinner plates, four side plates, and four bowls - all made from porcelain - which are decorated with a picturesque woodland alongside two fans.
On Asda's website, the set has been reviewed highly by customers, totalling a whopping 4.8 stars.
Since sharing her latest findings online, Susan's Facebook post has raked in over 1,500 interactions - and 150 comments to date.
Taking to the comment section, one person gushed: "Well done, that's gorgeous."
"Wow that's amazing," a second agreed.
Meanwhile, a third wrote: "I got this set for £13 before Christmas - thought I had a good deal, yours is better lol."
On the other hand, a different Facebook user complained: "My Asda never has good bargains like this. Absolute bargain there - pretty as well."
A fifth said: "Aww, I was after a new plate set too. Excellent find."
Another person penned: "I bought this today for the same price. An absolute steal x."
