New rules have been brought in for shoppers buying Asda's budget Just Essential range. Customers have already slammed the new rules which some have said penalises large families.
The supermarket giant was previously praised for introducing the range, which was rolled out as "simply priced and packaged cheap foods to suit every budget". However, shoppers say they are 'appalled' by new rules, which limit how many items each shopper can buy.
The popular supermarket, which has branches in Nottingham and across the wider county including West Bridgford, Hyson Green, Arnold and Mansfield, has placed signs alongside its ranges saying that shoppers are only allowed to buy a maximum of three of each item per supermarket visit. Notices read: "We love that you love Just Essentials and we're working hard to keep up with demand. To help make sure customers can get what they need, we're limiting purchases to 3 of each product per customer for a short time."
