Sales of the drinks created by rivals, turned friends, KSI and Logan Paul are being limited to three per customer at Asda stores. The £2 Prime energy drink has proved so popular amongst young people, that the retailer has had to put restrictions in place.
There were reports that some youngsters were buying trays of the drinks and selling them in school at an inflated price. Some shoppers are even selling it on eBay for £50,000. More details here.
Since its UK launch in June this year, stocks of the drinks have been flying off the shelves at an incredible rate, and the supermarket has struggled to keep up with demand.
Asda is the only store in the UK selling all the flavours, including Lemon Lime, Tropical Punch, Ice Pop and Blue Raspberry.
Youngsters were camping out overnight to get their hands on the drink before they get to school.
But one grandmother said: "I knew my grandsons really wanted the drink and I had been looking for it for weeks. When I did find some for sale, I bought three, took it home to him and he didn't even like the taste, so I have got two bottle sitting in the fridge."
One shopper said: "I was standing next to the customer service desk waiting for a friend, and the phone was constantly ringing with people asking if the drink was in stock."
After taking part in two competitive boxing matches, the pair of YouTubers, who have a combined followed of more than 50 million, teamed up to produce the drink.
The official Prime Instagram account currently boasts 1.2 million followers, highlighting the interest in the popular drink.
