Shoppers have praised Asda for a £1 children's meal offer that will help struggling families over the summer.
The retailer says children aged 16 and under across England and Wales will be able to get a hot or cold meal for £1 a day across all Asda cafes, seven days a week. Adults will not need to meet a minimum spend to take advantage this £1 deal.
This initiative was launched in Scotland last month and has now been extended to England and Wales. Asda says it hopes to be able to help families tackle holiday hunger by offering these meals.
